Minimum type size = 8pt., 10 pt. or larger is preferred.
Minimum fine line thickness = 2pt., 4 pt. is preferred.
Minimum bleed off = 3/8”.
Maximum tint screen = 70% and 42 line screen.
Maximum print = 2 different colours in a single pass.
Tolerance between 2 different colours = + or – 1/8”.
Print registration tolerance = between 1/16” and 3/8”.
For die-cut boxes, a minimum of 3/8” is required between a printed image and the edge of the board, any score and hand holes. For non die-cut boxes, a minimum of 1/2” is required between a printed image and any score.

Please provide your artwork using any of the formats below:

Adobe Illustrator:

Save all fonts as outlined paths.
We utilize version 11 and can use files saved as any version up to and including 11.

EPS File:

Adobe Photoshop:

Require a minimum 300dpi (dots per inch)
Do not flatten image.
We use version 8.0 and can use files saved as any version up to and including 8.0.

Physical Reproduction:

If you are not able to provide artwork in one of the above file formats, a physical reproduction of the artwork may be used (e.g. business card or printed box). Please note: Resolution may be lower and compromise print quality. You may, howeve, have the artwork recreated either by Pacific Packaging or by a graphic artist. Additional charges will apply.

Make certain to provide your Company Name and product ID in the e-mail. If sending more than one file please ensure that all files are named and identifiable.
Please do not e-mail files larger than 2 MB in size.

Files On Disk:

Please provide files larger than 2 MB in size on a CD.
Disk / CD must be PC formatted.
Disk / CD must be labeled with Company Name.
If sending more than one file please ensure that all files are named and identifiable.

Please indicate the desired GCMI ink colour for your print, if not indicated then Pac Pac will use an “IN HOUSE” stock colour.
Special ink colours that are not kept in stock may be subjected to a surcharge.
If a specific colour is required, it is imperative that you discuss this with your sales representative. As corrugated board is a porous substrate that absorbs the water / oil based ink, the print on your box will differ from print on regular paper stock.
