INJEKTO M - SETUP AND USE INSTRUCTIONS

INJEKTO M

  1. Connect the supplied 12V power supply to INJEKTO M.
  2. Allow 5 minutes for INJEKTO M to heat up sufficiently.
  3. Put some MASTE into INJEKTO M.
  4. Ensure the nozzle cover is plugging the nozzle to prevent MASTE from leaking, but don’t worry, you can 100% recycle MASTE if it does spill. Avoid reusing contaminated MASTE if spilled on a dirty area.
  5. Inject MASTE into your mold by pressing the single button on the machine. Use proper safety glasses, and keep hands clear of the pinch points.
  6. INJEKTO M will automatically retract to the top
  7. Use the nozzle cover again to prevent leaking.

DEMOLDING

  1. Allow sufficient time for the MASTE to cool to room temp. Your mold design and material will make a significant impact on this wait time.
  2. Carefully remove your part from your silicone molds.

FURNACE

  1. Place some FUSION MIX at the bottom of your crucible.
  2. Place your MASTE part in your crucible.
  3. Cover your part with FUSION MIX with at least 2cm above them.
  4. Place crucible in furnace, close and lock the door.
  5. NOTE: For first time use of the furnace it will stink for about 30 minutes as it burns off any residue from the manufacturing process. Always use the Furnace and FUSION MIX in a well-ventilated area.
  6. Turn the furnace up to 1020C. The furnace will not begin to heat up until you press the P button. Once the P button is pressed, a dashed red line in the top right of the screen will begin to flash once a second roughly. This indicates that the furnace is now beginning to heat.
  7. Start a 2 hour timer once you start the furnace. (Furnace will take 40 minutes to heat up to 1020C, and then you leave the crucible in the furnace for another 80 minutes).
  8. Once your two hours are up, press the P again to stop the furnace from heating.
  9. Allow the furnace to cool slowly over 3 hours, or as long as needed.
  10. Once cooled, the parts are ready to be removed and cleaned.

CLEANING

You have several options for cleaning.

Option 1: Use the provided steel or brass brushes to clean the part. Each brush leaves a different finish.

Option 2: Sandblasting.

Option 3: Buffing wheel with polishing compound.

Option 4: Fill up a cup with white vinegar and salt (proportions aren’t critical) and place the part in there for 5 minutes.
