I bought the Injekto 3 to showcase plastic injection as a means of manufactoring with my engineering students. It has passed with flying colors. Students love seeing the Injekto in action and how quickly parts can be made. I also plan to add this machine to our other engineering classes as a module for students to learn the mold making process.

I've followed Action Box for quite some time on their YouTube, and as a product owner who'd just spent tens of thousands on a steel injection mold themselves, seeing the Injekto in action made me full of regret for not having bought it sooner.

If you have a product idea or concept now, you can literally 3D print it into an SLS or Poly mold, and voila, within the same day, you can go from idea to a physical 360 degree working concept.

It's mindblowing how accessible this makes having a product come to life now, and I'd truly recommend it to all designers, dreamers and engineers. Not to mention the customer service is A+!

My tips!:
- Get the Mold Lifters (Life Changer)
- Get 2 Aluminum Backers so you can rotate between pulls
- Get a SILENT Compressor! I Purchased a Craftsman and it's dead quiet
- Invest in a decent fume extractor, because depending on the material you use, it can get fumey. I got a very decent one from Vevor for $100

I'm thrilled with my Action Box Injekto 3.0. The engineering was thoughtful, the kit was high quality, and it went together (with the guidance of some awesome printed and video instructions). I had one question during building, which was operator error, and support got back to me almost immediately. We use this in a teaching / research environment, and it's a great tool for that job. I also appreciated that this was a DIY solution that I could buy as a single line item - always nice in an environment where purchasing can be difficult.

Great molder for initial trials and testing. Nice to have a benchtop unit that can mold a variety of plastics. Customer service was very helpful and answered all of our questions prior to ordering. Great addition so far!

I've just finished building my whole set up and haven't really worked with it enough to give a full review yet, but so far I am very impressed by the quality of all the parts and the overall design and can't wait to really dive into creating more of my art with Injekto.

This is a great machine. I took my time putting it together after work over a couple of days; my time constraints, not the machine's fault. It's really heavy and well-made. The parts go together pretty smoothly. You need to cut some wires, but it's not a big deal. Find the unlisted YouTube assembly video and watch it a few times before starting.

I'm really happy with my purchase and am currently having a great time learning injection molding. I'm using FDM-printed molds made of PET-CF. That stuff is really tough and holds up well. The downside is the print time, 14 hours to produce two mold halves, but if you don't have a CNC machine, then it's a good deal.

You won't regret buying this machine. My only suggestion is not cheap out like I did on buying the Mold Lifters (for INJEKTO 3), it's worth it. I'm using a $30 car jack rated for a couple of tons, but it is a pain in the butt to position, and you really have to crank it to get the seal. Yes, it's $500, but you're already $2,500 deep, so $500 more won't make a difference :)

I run a small business making scale plastic model cars. I used to 3D print parts but the layer lines just made it look unprofessional. After some research I got the Injekto 3 and the quality of parts cannot be compared to 3d printing. Much smoother finish and my customer feedback has been better. Grateful for the kind support team helping me get started. I would describe Injekto 3 as a beginners machine with a premium feel. I would recommend it!

I’ve been using Injekto 3.0 for a week or so now with CNC aluminum molds. The machine went together in around 4 hours for me but I was being very methodical. It has worked great so far and done everything I have asked it to do.

I just used it for the first time and worked nicely. Love the black matte finish, it adds a nice touch. Overall the machine weighs about 85lbs.

We have been thoroughly enjoying using our Injekto-3 system! This is especially due to the Action Box support team. Mike has been extremely helpful in ensuring that our parts are coming out as desired and expediting our manufacturing timeline!

Mike on the Actionbox customer support team was super easy to work with and proved to be really helpful answering all my questions and helping me navigate my purchase. While receiving a kit of parts like this is always daunting, the assembly video was easy to navigate. The hardest part of the assembly was attaching the front and back covers and we ended up having to file down the burrs on the bottom plate in order to get it to fit - which honestly isn't much of a problem and was easily sorted. I'm pleased to say that the machine worked perfectly as soon as we turned it on. It does take several minutes to get up to temp but once it does it will very happily inject whatever it is you put into it. I still have a lot of work ahead of me sorting out molds, but the machine itself does exactly what it is supposed to do and I'm super happy with it.

Easy assembly and high-quality parts does what you need it to do doesn’t have a way to lift or clamp the mold so you need to build your own or buy there aftermarket lift before you can use it.

Nice work until it definitely makes the job easier

INJEKTO 3 | Plastic Injection Molding Machine

I ordered the INJEKTO 3.0 kit, additional pellets, and the downloadable molds. As I'm waiting for the kit, I've been checking out other items on the website. The more I see the mold backers suggested the more I really hope they come in the kit because I didn't order them separately.
I will update the number of stars upon review.

I’m based in Germany and purchased the Injecto 3 as a business customer for various small projects – quality was especially important to me. The Injecto comes as a complete kit and must be assembled by the user. There's a very detailed and easy-to-follow instructional video provided. The assembly is quite straightforward, and you get to know the entire structure of the device in the process, which I see as a big advantage.

I took about four hours to complete the assembly, as I proceeded very carefully to avoid any mistakes. Everything worked flawlessly right from the start. The device has been in use for several months now and has been running perfectly ever since.

The support and customer service are truly excellent – whenever there's a question or issue, help is provided quickly and professionally. I'm absolutely thrilled.

At the time of my purchase, there was no lifter and mold backers available for the actual mold – I had to make these myself. Today, I would recommend ordering these parts directly from ActionBox.

The support and quick feedback I have received when setting the device up was not only helpful, but also friendly and professional. The machine itself will add great versatility to our high school engineering environment.

I want to start with assembly which will be short:
Basically, assembly went as documented and only issues were me not quite understanding a few steps so had to re-do them.

Onto using the Injekto 3:
I have yet to produce a part but I do not beleive that is the machine's fault as much mine as given by the title.

My goal is to make Injection Molded Knobs for use in Flight Simulators. Done correctly I need to use a clear pellet which I found some from Acrylite. Biggest issue I have is get a bubble free injection.

Overall though I'm happy with the Injekto and just need to improve my skills in using it.

So far the machine has been working out great for me and my students. Customer support has been very quick and answered questions in a very digestible way.

I bought the Injekto 2 to prototype small ABS plastic parts for a project, and it’s been working really well. The parts are pretty heavy which is important and overall took me about an hour to assemble the mechanical kit. The machine is straightforward to use, and once I got the hang of it, I was able to produce consistent parts without much hassle. It’s great for small-scale prototyping and has saved me time compared to outsourcing. If you’re looking to make precise plastic components, it’s a solid choice at the current price point.

Very sturdy product. Overall I am satisfied with this injection molding machine. It was easy to assemble, came complete with all necessary tools and functions as expected.

I ordered this machine and within less than 5 hours I already received my tracking number. The customer service is great, and they always respond and provide support if needed. Injekto has been working well for me. I have a small business and was doing low volume production with a manual press. As demand for my product started increasing, I was able to upgrade my machine to injekto and now my production goes by much faster and is better quality.

Ive been using Injekto for a school project with both 3d printed molds and aluminum. Both work well for my use case (about 36 grams per part). I had a few questions about the type of plastics I can use and the customer service was quick to respond and helped me figure it out. I would recommend this machine!

The INJEKTO is really fun. I made small gear parts and I was surprised by the level of detail (I used a metal mold). Didn't expect to be this hooked on plastic molding.
