The ULTIMATE Desktop Shredder | SHREDII 8

GET THE LATEST SHREDII 8

Meet SHREDII 8, the final evolution of our desktop recycling machine that turns old 3D prints, failed parts, and scrap materials into usable raw material right on your workbench.

After years of testing, redesigns, and upgrades, SHREDII 8 combines everything we’ve learned. It’s stronger, quieter, and safer than ever before. Hardened steel blades power through tough polymers, while the heavy-duty gearbox and motor keep every shred smooth and consistent. We also designed a tray system for easy collection of shreds.

We designed SHREDII 8 for makers, schools, and small workshops who want to take control of their plastic waste and start real recycling at home. Pair it with INJEKTO 3 to melt and remold your shredded flakes into new parts and prototypes.

This is the final SHREDII, our most refined and complete version. It’s the machine that closes the loop on DIY recycling.

A hungry machine that loves to eat (3d prints)

Well designed and constructed machine. It feels like it is built like a tank. Great customer support also for wiring help.
Less 1 star because I found the link cable provided to be very thick and difficult to clamp on the deadman switch and a little more length would be helpful.
-Printed custom funnel and lid with acrylic window.
-Printed custom gasket and chute to isolate the wooden table and shredded prints (contamination) followed with a flap seal under the table.

I have put PLA, PETG and ABS through SHREDII with only a small amount of clumping if the blades get a little warm. But you just throw it back into SHREDII.

For recycling to make new filament, creating regrinds needs 2 or 3 cycles through SHREDII to get the particles small enough.

locksmiths don't have to cut up keys by hand.

Recently we purchased your key chopper, and we must say it's an impressive tool for destroying keys. We used to cut them up with linemen's plyers by hand, so as you can imagine your tool not only saves time but also prevents a possible hand injury so it's also ergonomically friendly. Time will tell on longevity on the blades however its well-constructed, however adding a catch basin to the bottom would be an added plus also a cover for the funnel feed with a slot would also prevent pieces from popping up in the work area. Just some feedback. Thanks much, Mike Wooley

Shredii 8 for 3d printers

Shredii 8 is a really impressive machine. it can chew through pretty much anything you can do with a 3d printer.
its great for chewing up big filament into small scraps for recycling. The crushing does generate a bit of heat which you need to keep an eye on if you are using low temp materials like PLA. But that is to be expected with machinery. Use in moderation.
The safety switch is a good move too. I was annoyed at first that you have to hold down the on switch, but in retrospect, its a very smart move. It greatly prevents accidents. if you feel you are in danger, let go of the switch and the machine will stop IMMEDIATELY.
Its a well rounded desktop shredder. If you have a lot of waste and want to turn it into something useful again, Shredii 8 will do the job!

Shredii

The motor really changed the game with Shredii. It was a bit of a challenge to attach the motor since both the motor and Shredii are quite heavy, but once together it was definitely worth it!
