SHREDII 8 industrial-grade AR500 hardened steel blades shredding rigid plastic parts with precision and power.

Industrial-Grade Shredder Blades

Built from AR500, a high-hardness steel known for its armor-grade toughness, these blades resist deformation and edge wear even under crushing loads, making SHREDII capable of shredding rigid plastics, composites, and other dense materials with ease.

SHREDII 8 tall safety funnel being installed quickly on the shredder, guiding materials safely into the cutting chamber.

Easy-Mount Safety Funnel

The tall, precision-fit funnel installs in seconds and guides materials securely into the shredder. Its extended height improves reach and containment, keeping your workspace clean and your hands clear.

SHREDII 8 collection bin sliding out smoothly beneath the shredder, showing easy cleanup of shredded plastic materials.

Clean and Convenient Collection

A dedicated bin under SHREDII captures every shred neatly as you work. The slide-out design makes it easy to empty and reinstall, reducing downtime and mess between batches.

SHREDII 8 forward-reverse safety switch stopping the blades instantly when released for safe and easy operation.

Forward/Reverse Switch

The forward-reverse switch makes SHREDII easy to control. Press and hold to run the blades, and when you let go, everything stops instantly with no complicated electronics, just reliable safety by design.

An absolute beast...

This shredder is amazing! Quality is outstanding. Assembly was quick, clear, and concise. My students had the shredder eating bottle caps within the class period. Fit and finish are spot on, and it seems like it will eat about whatever we throw at it. Support is amazing with the manuals and videos. Email response time is lightning fast. The main diet for this Shred in the learning lab will be FDM supports, FDM failures, and bottle caps. Building a work table to house the Shred with a collection bin underneath that will also be home to the Injekto.

A hungry machine that loves to eat (3d prints)

Well designed and constructed machine. It feels like it is built like a tank. Great customer support also for wiring help.
Less 1 star because I found the link cable provided to be very thick and difficult to clamp on the deadman switch and a little more length would be helpful.
-Printed custom funnel and lid with acrylic window.
-Printed custom gasket and chute to isolate the wooden table and shredded prints (contamination) followed with a flap seal under the table.

I have put PLA, PETG and ABS through SHREDII with only a small amount of clumping if the blades get a little warm. But you just throw it back into SHREDII.

For recycling to make new filament, creating regrinds needs 2 or 3 cycles through SHREDII to get the particles small enough.

Glad you're enjoying your new tank (SHREDII)! Your setup is really unique, thanks for sharing! We also appreciate the feedback.

Shredii 8 for 3d printers

Shredii 8 is a really impressive machine. it can chew through pretty much anything you can do with a 3d printer.
its great for chewing up big filament into small scraps for recycling. The crushing does generate a bit of heat which you need to keep an eye on if you are using low temp materials like PLA. But that is to be expected with machinery. Use in moderation.
The safety switch is a good move too. I was annoyed at first that you have to hold down the on switch, but in retrospect, its a very smart move. It greatly prevents accidents. if you feel you are in danger, let go of the switch and the machine will stop IMMEDIATELY.
Its a well rounded desktop shredder. If you have a lot of waste and want to turn it into something useful again, Shredii 8 will do the job!

Thank you for the review! Glad SHREDII 8 has been able to help you recycle all your 3D prints.

Custom safety cover

I purchased the SherdII and down loaded the round safely cover. But I needed a taller cover. I contacted customer service and a very nice gentleman responded. I explained what I was looking for. He had design create a file for me to download. I printed it and it works great. It was just what I needed. Their customer service is amazing. I highly recommend them.

Thank you for the 5-star review Alicia! We love your setup and we're glad you're getting great use from your SHREDII!

Unbelievable

This a little monster. I did not expect it to be such a solid machine. I can tell a lot of work went into its production. I will add pictures once I get it put together.

Huge upgrade from my old shredder

I used to have one of those cheap Chinese shredders and it jammed all the time. Even small plastic pieces would get stuck and I’d have to take it apart every other session. I finally decided to get something more serious and the Shredii 8 has been a completely different experience. It has not jammed a single time for me and it just eats through all my 3D printed scrap. The build feels solid, the flakes come out clean, and it fits nicely on my workbench. Honestly one of the best tools I’ve added to my shop in a long while.

locksmiths don't have to cut up keys by hand.

Recently we purchased your key chopper, and we must say it's an impressive tool for destroying keys. We used to cut them up with linemen's plyers by hand, so as you can imagine your tool not only saves time but also prevents a possible hand injury so it's also ergonomically friendly. Time will tell on longevity on the blades however its well-constructed, however adding a catch basin to the bottom would be an added plus also a cover for the funnel feed with a slot would also prevent pieces from popping up in the work area. Just some feedback. Thanks much, Mike Wooley

SHREDII Review

I just finished the assembly and delivered the finished shredder to my former employer. The assembly was easy however the two holes to secure the gear cover were not tapped. The shredder will be used to breakdown plastic parts that have failed production so that Melt Flow Analysis can be performed on the plastic. In order to perform Melt Flow Index testing, you need to have the plastic ground up into manageable chunks. The plan is to use SHREDII to grind up the questionable plastic when we have to analyze a future production problem.

Thank you for your kind review, Ross!

Great little shredder for my shop

This shredder works great, especially with plastics. The hand crank is a nice to have, but I think I'll stick to using motor.

Small and powerful, Great customer support

After 2 weeks of use, Shredii met my expectations. A very solid design and takes about 20 minutes to assemble. I'm recycling garbage 3D printed parts to turn into filament, so this helped automate that process into consistent chunks. Also used it to destroy some older SSD drives :D Customer support was also super quick in answering my question about the electronics kit. Overall very happy and glad I came across this product.

Thanks George! We appreciate the kind review :)
